The Skies Are Gray

Mycket kaffe, lite skriva. Det var fint.

ENGLISH:  Ever since the heatwave in July I’ve been hearing ”You ain’t seen nothing yet, just wait till August…”. And now it’s all about gray skies and rain. But I follow my sun tan and welcome fall in advance. Come forth beautiful new coat of the season: trench-coat meets kimono in shimmering wool (aka the flasher-coat) from Fabrics Interseason (who had the good taste to name the s/s 2010 collection to ”Latte mama”), Project No. 8, 138 Division Street.  It looks even better with heels, but I liked the ”Momo”-feeling I got with flats – Michael Ende’s ”Momo” has been one of my favorite novels since I got it for Christmas as a 6 year-old. The afternoon was spent with the best of company at Doma (17 Perry St), a place where it’s still more common to see people buried in a book than in a laptop (which might be explained by the non-existent internet connection). More coffee than writing. It was nice.
